Gear up for 2006 season

SDF 2006 is closer than you may think! This year's festival will run July 21th to 30th 2006.
Preparations are all ready underway to make sure we can match if not surpass last year's success.

An Executive has been chosen by the steering committee. Welcome to Monica Cairney the Artistic Director and Julie Ella Dubeau (me) The Production Stage Manager. The General Manager position is still vacant, Monica and I will be responsable for those duties until after director proposals have been picked and then the position will be reopened. We can do this Thanks to Chris McLeod's willingness to stay on as Financial Coordinator (a job too big for us) A big thanks to Chris!

Director play proposals are now being accepted. If you would like a copy of the form please email mcmaster_sdf@yahoo.ca and we will send you one. All proposals are due on January 27th at noon. The AD and PSM will select the 2006 season by February 4th.

The General Manager, Coordinator and Assistant positions will open in February and be selected February 17th. This include: General Manager, Fundraising Coordinator, Promotions Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, Box Office Coordinator, Assistant General Manager, Assistant Production Stage Manager, Assistant Artistic Director and Show Stage Managers. More details about these positions will be available in late January.

Auditions will be the week of March 6th.
